AutoMatic 80s  -  Christchurch based tribute band

AutoMatic 80s is a premier New Zealand-based 80s live tribute band featuring Justin Maclaren (Vocalist/Frontman), Pearl Runga (Vocalist/Keyboardist), Sam Edgar (or Jayden Lee) (Drums), Ryan Wood(Lead Gguitar), and Clint Harris or Simon Finnel (Bass).  They perform high-energy hits from bands like Duran Duran and Human League.

The current lineup of AutoMatic 80s live 80s tribute experience, features the following musicians:

Justin Maclaren: Lead Vocals, Guitar, and Keyboards.
Pearl Runga: Vocals, Keyboards, and Keytar (sister to Boh and Bic Runga)
Ryan Wood: Lead Guitar and Vocals
Simon Finnel: Bass Guitar
Sam Edgar: Drums

Past and Occasional Members have included well-known musicians from other prominent NZ acts: Clint Harris: Bassist (known for his work with The Feelers and Opshop), Bobby Kennedy: Drummer (also from Opshop), Jayden Lee: Drummer (member of the band Alae), Danny McCrum: Lead Guitarist, Todd Rice: Bassist, Boh Runga: Appearing as special guest vocalist.

The band is known for its authentic 80s sound and features seasoned musicians, with some members having performed together since the 1980s.  The lineup may feature different, but similarly experienced, session musicians for various gigs.
