Barbara Cuttance - seen here at Rockquest 2000 with Glenn Common, Chanel Cole and Pete Rainey
Barbara was born and grew up on the West Coast. Circa 1986, Barbara met Mike Waldegrave at Whitecliffs Festival where his sound company (The Soundpeople) provided and managed the festival sound. Barbara was working/living in Queenstown at the local paper, The Mountain Scene before making a move to Christchurch and starting a promotion company called Quantum Promotions and she looked after Paul Urbana Jones when he first arrived in New Zealand. Barbara and Mike picked up C93FM's Rock Quest and ran it in 1989 as The Yamaha Rock Quest with Charlie Jemmett as a sponsor, and later as The CocaCola Rock Quest (1990) ultimately it became The SmokeFree Rock Quest (1991). The pair sold out of Rock Quest, to Pete Rainey and Glenn Common in circa 1993. Barbara then moved on to Auckland, and is now believed to have moved to Hawaii.
