Beggs — Music Store, High Street, Christchurch
Beggs music store was situated on High Street immediately across the road from Sedley Wells who were the main trading opposition. Beggs carried an extensive range of musical instruments of all kinds, and they were one of Christchurch's main musical institutions. Their focus was more on classical musical instruments, and they had a huge range of pianos, starkly contrasting their opposition across the road who were more oriented toward current instruments (and especially guitars). |
