Cage was formed in 1970 by Martin Brooks and Fred Kradolfer after The Heritage split up - Cage were a Christchurch-based band and had a few very talented musicians, one of whom was Mark Jayet (14 years old and brother of André Jayet well known NZ drummer with Ragnorok). Cage spent a lot of time on the road travelling, and got fairly well known in the South Island of New Zealand. |
