Jim Cooper - started in music as a 17-year-old in Riverton, Southland, New Zealand, and later moved over to Australia

Jim was originally from Riverton, Southland, New Zealand.  He found music at a very early age and has continued to perform since that time.  His first band venture was with local group The Courtells, and they performed around the Invercargill region in the early 60s.  He moved up to Christchurch with a group known as The Mark 4 Enterprise, and reputedly played at The Pride Of Place in 1963.  Jim now lives and performs in Australia with his group Kaoss Rok.
