Johnny Velox and The Vauxhalls were a teenage four piece from Burnside High School.  The band comprised of — vocalist Johnny Velox (real name Mike Williams), guitarist Kid Buick (Mark Brooks), bass player Eugene Dipstick (Scott Brooks), and Dick Distant (Findlay Caulderwood) on drums.  They played songs by The Velvet Underground and The Who, with Mark Brooks turning out an ever-increasing number of originals.
