King Tubbs are a classy duo with a boutique-style repertoire ideally suited for corporate events, restaurants and bars where they perform classic jazz through to instrumental dubbed-out jazzy twists on popular songs and grooves by a wide range of artists and groups, with Harry singing a selection of classic blues, funk and reggae tunes by artists such as Eric Clapton, Robert Cray, Stevie Wonder and Bob Marley. This unique combination of repertoire, virtuosity, soul and feel, is what sets King Tubbs apart. Harry Harrison is a highly accomplished guitarist, competent in a myriad of styles, with many musical achievements under his belt, having played with many outstanding artists. The versatile Justine Snelgove on saxophones, flute, keys and vocals, has broad experience playing in original bands and in Jazz Festivals throughout New Zealand. |
