Back in the halcyon days of Beatlemania (and still in stunning black and white), Let's Go was the first viable successor to In The Groove (which was New Zealand's first TV pop music show dating back 1962.)  The highly successful Lets Go was devised and produced by Kevan Moore - with DJ Peter Sinclair in his first big presenting role.  Recorded in Wellington at the NZBC's Waring Taylor Street Studio (with its notorious sloping floor - a challenge for the big cameras), it featured a resident band - initially The Librettos and latterly The Pleasers.  Let's Go only lasted two years, but in early 1967 Kevan Moore and Peter Sinclair teamed up once again for the hugely successful C'mon!.

Legendary NZBC/TVNZ producer Kevan Moore

Born in Bradford, UK, Kevan was responsible for Let's Go, its successors C'mon and Happen Inn, then as Head of Programming for TV2, he sanctioned the last great Kiwi TV music show - Radio With Pictures, before starting his own TV Production Company.
