Circa 1959, Trevor King in conjunction with Australian Returned Servicemen's Association presented "Show Time" (with Watson Raines, The Rehua Maori Concert Party, Downey and Smith, Ahkbar Khan, The Wakefield Brothers, Alby Barr, Max Merritt and his Meteors, Ray Anderson, The O'Sullivan Sisters, The Southerners, Roy Cook) at The Majestic Theatre, Christchurch. Lurking in amongst that group were Peter and Gerald McMullan who performed an Elvis Presley Tribute as "The Wildcats" ..... |
